The KC Chamber exists to make KC the best place to live, work, start a business and grow a business. The new identity reflected both an internal and an external purpose to remain true to the KC Chamber’s 125-year tradition and to move powerfully into the future. The KC Chamber embraced its unofficial mantra, “Go Big KC,” and made a decision to go big and bold to make Big KC thrive with a new name and logo. Rallying behind the Kansas City bi-state region’s unifying effort to use KC. The tagline supports their mission “For a Greater Kansas City.” The chevron motif connects the letter forms and further propels their mission for economic growth in the identity system. Sub-brands use the chevron motif in a variety of ways. The system came to life through stationery, office signage, website, magazine and everything in between.
