Nothing makes a designer happier than paper and type. So when Neenah asked Willoughby to design a book to promote its signature line, it took us about a nanosecond to say YES! In all caps BTW.
The theme “Fresh Takes on CLASSIC® Type” showcases contemporary typography interpreted by Willoughby and demonstrates the versatility of this fine paper. In collaboration with writer Alyson Kuhn, we designed six spreads that capture how the digital and analog worlds are united in an unlimited possibility of expression.
Whether using Jessica Hische’s type to evoke a time and place, or playing with Luke Lisi’s puzzling, layering typeface Homestead, each spread features a playful take away for designers to enjoy.
