Nestled within The Inn at Meadowbrook and opening out to the 80-acre Meadowbrook Park, The Market at Meadowbrook is a casual neighborhood café and grab-and-go that offers seasonally-inspired breakfast, lunch and dinner for dine-in, picnics in the park or carry out. It serves as the sister concept to the upscale and elegant Verbena, both owned and operated by Patrick and Joanne Quillec.

With its winding trails, lakes, playgrounds, shelters and even a sledding hill that draws families from all around, the Park has quickly become a central meeting spot for the neighborhood. It was important that The Market’s brand experience and identity be welcoming for all and embrace a variety of usage occasions from morning coffee meet-ups to evening gatherings over wine and snacks.

We created a customized script logotype on a French Blue background to compliment the local, artisan vibe of the space and food. A gallery of simple line drawings including a cute pup anyone would love added a touch of whimsey to the look. Bright and welcoming color blocks of orange and green enhance the laid back but classic atmosphere.

Opening in the middle of the 2020 pandemic came with unprecedented challenges, but due to a strong commitment to safety, social distancing, carry-out and outdoor dining options, this new concept has been welcomed with open arms and is quickly becoming a bustling and beloved neighborhood gem.
