Managing Director

In her role as Managing Director, Katy is focused on guiding brand strategy, building strong client relationships and overseeing agency workflow. Responsible for working hand-in-hand with agency principals as part of the senior leadership team, Katy shares accountability for continuing the legacy of creative excellence and successful brand partnerships. Katy is a well-balanced, strategic leader with a healthy mix of experience in leadership roles across agency, consulting and corporate/brand roles.

With a focus on building consumer brands, much of Katy’s career has been driven by developing a keen understanding of the human behavior that drives purchasing decisions. With a breadth of consumer and retail category expertise, Katy’s background includes work with world-class brands such as Hallmark, Panera Bread, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Helzberg Diamonds, Kay Jewelers, P&G, Bose and Kohl’s.

Katy has received numerous awards and accolades for brand strategy and authored bylines for multiple trade publications. She has also been a dedicated and active board member for industry and philanthropic organizations including American Advertising Federation-Kansas City and Jewelers for Children.

At her core, Katy is a problem solver and a storyteller. These are her superpowers. A strong collaborator, insightful moderator and thoughtful writer, Katy leads teams through the strategic process to simplify the complex and ultimately deliver succinct brand systems. She is a player/coach who thrives on leading and doing with a collaborative spirit. With an on-the-go family, the balance of her time is spent at her second job, navigating the journey with her husband, son and two clever doggos.
